Bumper Sticker Theology

This month, as we start all our programs and activities back up, we will also be starting a new sermon series titled "Bumper Sticker Theology. In this series, we will be exploring various statements commonly used by Christians that may sound good on the surface, but upon closer examination, reveal misunderstandings about God's nature or can cause hurt to others. Through the lens of scripture, we will examine the phrases "God won't give you more than you can handle," "God helps those who help themselves," “When God closes a door, God opens a window,” and “Everything happens for a reason.” Join us as we engage in thoughtful and reflective dialogue to deepen our understanding of God and our relationships.
